Had a great Spring 2011 GMRAS - a big thanks to all the participants and supporters!
Mother Nature finally shined upon us ... where was the wind?! Oh, yeah, it was replaced by the gnats...! Great seeing returning racers and meeting new ones! Hope everyone had a great experience and love to see you all back next year! Congratulations to our first place teams, Rage Against the Cutoff, in the 2-person division, and Tardy Roosters in the 3-person division!

This years race will be held in Savanna< Illinois and will be a two state race. The race will held in the Mississippi Palisades State park and the surrounding area. This year the race will take you across the Mississippi and have you racing in the state of Iowa.
The race will be a 10-12 hour Unsupported race. Disciplines will include orienteering, biking, paddleing, a rappel. The race will have a central Transistition area and the course will be set up as an out and back course. The paddle will cover 3-6 miles, the biking will be between 30 - 40 miles, and the orienteering will cover between 5 - 10 miles.

Find Savanna on a map and travel 3 miles north on Rt. 84 to get to park.
Race start and Finish will be at the north entrance to the Park
Race check in will be saturday May 21 7:30am to 8:30am north entrance of park
(Gates at park open at 7:30am)
